Beautiful Disaster

Ok well, I remember a long time ago, (probably last year) that I tried reading this book. For some reason it didn't work out so much, and I don't know why. I decided to add this book to my TBR list once again, after I went to a signing last year with my friend Jasmine, Colleen Hoover, Abbi Glines and Jamie McGuire. I saw that a lot of people actually went to see Jamie, then I figured that her book was good so I kept it on my list. I loved that book! I mean I don't want to say that it's one of my favorites, but it is right there on the edge. The book is about this hot, flirty, cute, nerdy Travis Maddox....did I mention, he is also a street fighter! oh yeah oh yeah!

Abbi Abernathy is the new girl in Eastern University, she meets Travis for the first time in an underground fight. She happens to be really close to where Travis was fighting, that when he punched the other guy in the nose, all the blood got to Abbi's clothes, and this is the moment that they both saw each other for the first time. Travis is well known at the university for being a casanova actually there is a rumor that he has gone out with about half of the school girls. Abbi doesn't gets charm by his looks right away (I loved her character) she is a smart ass, she doesn't stay quiet and she is really funny. Maybe this is the same reason that caught Travis' attention for her. She doesn't go easy on him of course, and I liked that, she actually has bigger problems to deal with, like her father, money and luck yes luck! you get to find out about if you read this book. Although the book was kind of long, it was really good, the book is really original and does not compared to other books. I understand now why people loved it.

Against the Ropes

by Sarah Castille

This book, oh my.... I loved it!!!! This is a new book that we got at the library, and I immediately fell in Love with the cover.  This is a mix of some of my favorite books, like Fifty Shades, Bared to You and Noah!! Yeap you hear it right!! a mix of a beautiful, boxer, rich, sexy, playful, mysterious and impatient guy and his name is Max aka Torment. The big surprise here is Makayla the girl who falls for this guy. Makayla is also so close to reality, she describes herself as curvy, lazy, inexperience and funny. OMG I couldn't stop laughing with this book! I love her character I love the way she is, she is so much like you and me. She is so funny and she made me laugh so much with the way she is.  This book definitely became at the top of my favorite books! Jasmine I know you will love it :)

Noah

Another cheap book that I found in iBooks called Noah by Elizabeth Reyes.

I downloaded the sample of this book, just to see how it was and right away caught my attention. I read the first two free chapters and then I paid only $2.99 for it.

This book is about Veronica a 28 year old, apparently comes from Mexican family and who is overweight. Veronica's mother had just passed away a few months ago of Cancer. During this time, Veronica abandoned all her social life, her job, her boyfriend left her, she gave everything away just to take care of her mother. Now that her mother died she wanted to start all again. Veronica's best friend Nellie, invited her to go with her to a small gym. Noah is a boxer and also Veronica's trainer, he is handsome young man who seems really mature for his age (he is 19, turning 20). There is a instant connection between both of them. Veronica losses around 35 pounds in weeks, she gets all nice in shape. Little by little her life comes back to "normal" with Noah's help, he falls for her obviously but there is a lot more drama. It is a really good book. I liked it since the very beginning and  I highly recommend it. Noah, also has some friends and they all have a book, I am going to look for them.
