A Beautiful Dark

by Jocelyn Davies

OMG! This book will be the next movie saga! This book remind me so much to the twilight trilogy except there is no vampires and no werewolves lol. There are two handsome guys fighting for a girl though. These two are not some regular high school guys, these are different in another way, they have a special assignment. Skye is a girl with plans, she knows that if she wants to make it for Columbia University she needs to work for it. She was doing great until these two guys showed up to her life. She is torn between these two handsome and totally different from one another. Asher is dark, spontaneous, and wild, but Devin brings her calm, care and he is fair. There is a reason why they came looking for her, a mystery, a purpose. I seriously loved this first book, of course I am reading part 2 and 3. I can really picture that these trilogy would make an excellent movie saga.

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS

by John Green

This is another book that I chose for my readbox, and it is also being made into a movie for next year.  I am amazed by this book!. I have never read a book like this one, it reminds me of my sister's keeper in a way and some other movies. This is funny yet a sad book, the story it's just something that you don't hear very often, and I love this kind of books that are unexpected.

This book is about Hazel a seventeen year old who has terminal cancer for most of her life. Apparently, she has lived more than what she was supposed to.She doesn't go out, she doesn't go to school anymore, basically not a normal teenager life. Her mom wants her to have a "normal" life, and ends up sending her to  a Cancer Support Group where she meets Augustus Waters, and he changes her life around. It is really hard to explain exactly what happens with this book.  It is really fun and sad at the same time, and this book will get your emotions up and down so watch out. I literally cried like a baby almost at the end of the book! Ohh  and let me tell you the ending is really unexpected.  I fully, truly recommend this book and I think it will make a great movie. I really cannot wait to watch it.

if i stay

If I stay by Gayle Forman

Remember my readbox? click here Basically If I stay is one those books that I chose that are coming up as movies next year. Because I chose this book for my readbox it is only fair that I read it right? lol I was actually reading two different books this week one of them is the post before this one or go here Long Way Home  and The fault in our stars (I haven't finish this one) and it is also another one of my readbox selection. I was reading Long Way Home at home on my cellphone, and The Fault in Our Stars at work, but yesterday I forgot this book at home so I started reading if I stay (I hope I didn't confused you) so basically once I started reading if i stay I couldn't stop, thank God it was really slow at work so I finished it in a couple of hours. You see how amazing is to work in a library so when it's not busy get a book and read it. I think this actually talks good about me, because it means that you care for books, and  I utilize the books from my library (that's what I think anyway). Now, back to the book, it is amazing! Mia is a musician, so is her father, bother and her boyfriend Adam. Mia plays the cello, dad and brother the drums, and Adam is the main voice and main guitar from a local band that are finding their way to success. One snowy day Mia and her family go for a drive to see some friends of the family, but they suffer a terrible accident which causes Mia to be dead? or alive? this is something she needs to find out. Mia is out there with no extra powers or anything, but she is able to see everything around her while she lays down in bed at the hospital, with little possibilities of survival. This is book is a really easy read, really interesting, and I wasn't expecting any of what happened at all. I fully recommend the book, if you like it you won't stop reading it, plus it is coming up in a movie and you will already know the story. This is one of the things what I like about reading books, that you get to find out what happens in the movie before people who do not read. Plus, I am really desperate woman and I don't like surprises! so I like to know that I know what's going to happen before everyone else hehe.

Readbox and New Movies Info!!

Hello there! I just wanted to post this project that I did for my job, because it is book related :)

I love pinterest! I think it is an amazing app, where you can find A LOT of different ideas from clothing outfits to makeup etc.. I also like to do crafts!!! As you might know my husband and I, we're both librarians so one day we were looking for fun book displays to do at the library (we work in different towns btw). I found this cool "readbox" display which basically is like a "redbox" (where you can rent DVDs) but this one is for books, that's why is call "read" box get it???? lol. All right so I thought it was going to be fun and easy to do, so I asked my boss the main head librarian if I could do it, and she agreed right away!!! so this what I am talking about....

I chose books that are coming up in movies next year. Some of them like the Lorax and Catching Fire came out already, but I wanted to throw them in there :) I got a mix of children, non fiction,  YA and Fiction as well. The movie Horns by Joe Hill came out and has been shown in Canada only, but it has not  been release in the US yet. The main character is been played by Daniel Radcliffe best known as the lovely Harry Potter.

Here is the info for the other movies/books,  in case if you want to read the book first before the movie.
